2000 Awards

TVDCTA 2000 Year End Awards

The 2000 TVDCTA Year End Awards Banquet was held on January 20th at the Officer's Club on Redstone Arsenal. (Click on the pictures for larger versions of the pictures).

Stefan Neeley received the Ariat Award (donated by Horsing Around) for the highest TVDCTA score (72%) by a rider competing in 3 out of 4 TVDCTA events.

Volunteer Awards were presented to M.C. Macfarlane, Heather Miller, and Julie Olson for best volunteer efforts.

Ginny Moon received the Advancement Award (donated by Equistone) for having the greatest number of tests advanced during the year (seven). Ginny also received the Champion Award for Training Level 1 and 2 in both the High Score and Competition categories, plus four other awards for Training Level 3 and 4 and First Level! Debbie Hill won the Champion Award for First Level and Third Level and Above in both the High Score and Competition categories. She also received the Reserve Award for Second Level in the High Score category. You can see a picture of Debbie and her horse Indy on the photos page.

Heather Miller (seen here watching the auction) received two Reserve Awards for Training Level 3 and 4, plus Reserve and Third Awards for Training Level 1, in addition to the TVDCTA Volunteer award. There are a series of pictures of Heather on the photos page.

M.C. Macfarlane (seen here conducting the auction) garnered two First Level Awards and a Volunteer award..

Thirty-nine awards were handed out in the High Score and Competitive categories. Winners included Mary Bankich, Debbie Hill, Cindy Lathem, Becky Manteuffel, Heather Miller, Ginny Moon, Stefan Neely, Bradley Nesbitt, Diana Rose, and Cathy Zappe.

This award is for the highest TVDCTA score by a rider competing in 3 out of 4 TVDCTA events.

Competition Award
