TVDCTA 2001 Year End Awards
The 2001 year end awards
banquet was held on January 19, 2002 at Sister Gooch restaurant in Madison.
This proved to be a very enjoyable occasion, as club members enjoyed good food
and company. Awards were provided
by Horsing Around and Ariat Boots. Debi Crowley won the Ariat Rider of the Year Award for highest overall score earned at a TVDCTA show or ride-a-test for the show season at any level. Debi was presented a certificate for Arial boots and also went home with an armful of horse blankets as a result of her other awards. Sonja Hinds was the Volunteer of the Year. Virginia Moon won the Advancement Award, going from First Level Test 1 to Second Level Test 3. Barn owners Diana Rose and Judith Fiorentino received special recognition, along with Cathy Zappe (Shows/Clinics) and Bob and Karen Duncan (newsletter). Debbie Hill once again tabulated the year's competitive efforts for the awards. The High Score Award is for the highest score in a TVDCTA event and the Competition Award is for the highest average of at least three scores, two of which must be in TVDCTA events.
