TVDCTA 2004 Year End Awards

TVDCTA held its annual Awards Banquet on February 19^th at the Edgewater clubhouse in Madison. An auction was held to raise money for the club. Horsing Around provided saddle pad awards to the first place winners.

Debi Crowley was the big winner in the High Score award category, winning four different divisions, as well as posting the best open CT (27.60) and dressage (72.30) scores. Jr. rider Natalie Weil won in three different categories, including the best Jr. CT score (32.00) and also had the highest average dressage score among juniors (64.44) in the Competition Award category. Megan Zappe won two Jr. divisions and had the best Jr. dressage score (69.70). Debbie Hill posted the highest average score (66.00) among open riders in the Competition Award category.

Virginia Moon won the Advancement Award for the fourth time in the last five years. Mimi Barnes won the Volunteer Award for her efforts in organizing TVDCTA shows and clinics. Barn owners Jane Hays and Diana Rose were recognized for providing facilities for TVDCTA shows over the past year.

A big thanks goes out to Sonja Hinds and Morgan Stangle for organizing the banquet and to Debbie Hill for compiling the award lists.
