The
official 2005 show season for TVDCTA got underway the weekend of March 19-20
when the “Get Ready To Show” event was contested at Red Horse Ridge under
excellent conditions. Lois
Yukins “I” was the judge and also held a clinic on the following day.
Although
the test scores were generally somewhat lower than usual, Debbie Hill
came through with a 70.00% in her Training Level, Test 3 ride, earning High
Score honors for the Intro – Training open division. Debbie also won the First Level and Up High Score award with
a 63.70% in her First Level, Test 1 ride and had the top three scores of the
show while winning all six of her classes.
Karen Boates continues to ride well as she and Izod had the next
three best scores of the day.
Among
junior riders, Natalie Weil won the High Score award for First Level and
up, plus won all three of her classes. Caitlin
Newberry captured the High Score award for Intro – Training.
