Training Tip Of The Month - Chiropractic Adjustments

I'm sure all of us have watched foals in the field playing with each other at one time or another.  They like to run, rear, paw at one another, etc.  Well, prior to beginning their saddle training you might think about having a chiropractic adjustment done on them.  They can pull a muscle or misalign their spine with their rough play. It is also a good idea to have an adjustment done prior to having a saddle fitting.  You may find that your saddle doesn't need as much work or any work once you get the horse adjusted properly.  Chiropractic work is not about pain, it's about providing the horse (or human) the ability to move free and with greater ease.  Riders can improve their abilities if they receive adjustments also, it helps to keep you limber in the saddle.
