September 15th, featuring Charlotte Trentleman
"S" as the judge.
Sonja Rich on Pekco posted the best score of the day, at 72.860% in winning her Intro Test B class. That score was also good for the High Score Award for AA riders (Intro - Training). Sonja also scored a 71% in the Intro Test A class. Alisha Teele on Bojangles had the best score for Juniors (Intro - Training) with a 67.62% in winning her Intro Test B class.
Cathy Zappe scored a 68.72% for the best Open division score (First Level and up) in her Third Level test, while daughter Megan had the best Junior division score (First Level and up).

TVDCTA Dressage Schooling Show a SuccessThe TVDCTA “Get Ready to Show” Dressage Show with Nina Warren “L” was held on June 16th at Red Horse Ridge. The show was originally scheduled for April but was postponed due to the weather (boy could we use some of that rain now!).
Debi
Crowley, who
has also turned in some very good eventing performances lately, achieved scores
of 72% and 71%, the two highest scores of the show, in
winning two Training level classes, while riding Master Manipulator. Michelle
Miles on Gismo had the best Jr./YR score of the show (70%) in winning her
Training Test 1 class. A special thanks goes out to Nina Warren for fitting the make up show into her schedule and to Jane Hays and Red Horse Ridge for hosting the show, along with show secretary Debi Gilbert and the volunteer team from the club. Click here for results.
TVDCTA Dressage Show with CT EventsOur first show of the year
was held on May 19th at the Redstone Arsenal Saddle Club on Redstone
Arsenal, with Sharon Winkler
“L” as the judge. We had a
moderate turnout under excellent weather conditions and Debi Gilbert, Sonja
Rich, and the rest of the volunteers did another outstanding job of putting
it all together. Donna
Barnes
on
Micah had the highest dressage score of
the day with 64.00% in winning her Intro B class. Grace Ella Friar on Cocoa had the best
dressage score
among junior riders, a 56.50 in her Intro A class. The
CT events proved popular, with as many rides in those classes as we had in
dressage. Vicki Agee on
Basic Black had the outstanding score of the day, 26.84 in the Novice 2006 Test
B class. Lacey
Richards, riding Legally Blonde in that same class, had the best
junior CT score (32.63). A big thanks goes out to all of our volunteers and to the Redstone Arsenal Saddle Club who went all out for us!
Results and pictures are now available.
