TVDCTA Dressage and Combined Training Ride-A-Test

We were full both days with 54 dressage tests being ridden and 17 CT competitors.
On Saturday, Michelle Drolet and Garfield were High Score for Introductory Level with a 67.37 and Mimi Barnes on Aide de Camp was High Score for Training and Above with 64.54. Jen McElvie and Riverside were High Score for CT posting 39.50. For Sunday, High Score for Intro went to Cynthia Pollard and Egypt’s Sapphire with 62.60, High Score Training and Above to Becky Manteuffel on Bolder with 67.00 and High Score CT to Tessa Branas and Elvis Lives! With 36.50. High Scoring Jr/Yrs were Lindsay Tribble on Chesapeake Bay (52.11) for Saturday and Megan Ridner on Cutter (60.) for Sunday.
The Dressage Suitability class was interesting- no one went land skiing and for the most part, all four hooves stayed on the ground. Congratulations to Martin Warvi’s Trakehner, Velour, for being the “most suitable.”
I hope everyone had a great time, learned a lot and can’t wait to enter our next show!
