Proposed Year End Awards Rules
This
list of Year End Award Rules was provided by Awards Chair Debbie Hill and
reflects changes which were implemented (but not necessarily documented) over
the past couple of years. Please

There
will be a Competition Award for Open, Adult Amateurs, and Juniors (18 and under)
for each of the following levels: Intro
A&B
Training
Level First
Level Second
Level Third
Level Fourth
Level FEI
Level Amoeba
and Tadpole CT Prenovice
and Novice CT Training
CT Preliminary and Above CT
The
results will be calculated by averaging at least two scores.
Two scores must be earned at TVDCTA events.
Additional score(s) can be submitted to the awards chairperson from any
USAE recognized event offering dressage or combined training tests as well as
local schooling shows with a USAE or USDF licensed judge. Awards
will be calculated per horse/rider combination.
To be eligible for awards the rider and owner need to be current TVDCTA
members. The horse/rider
combination must compete in at least two of the TVDCTA schooling shows.
The rider must complete four volunteer hours for the club.
Junior riders can complete two volunteer hours. An advancement award will also be awarded to the horse/rider combination which advance the greatest number of tests during the year. To be eligible, the horse/rider combination must advance at least five tests. The highest test must be ridden after the lower tests. At least two tests must be ridden at TVDCTA schooling shows. The scores must be above 55%.
